Class List to iClicker Conversion

Learn how to convert your downloaded class list to iClicker format.

Use this tool to convert your downloaded class list to a format for i>clicker. (Not for those using the TritonEd learning management system class roster.)

  1. Download your class list from ACT.
    From the Save options, select TED Format.
  2. Open the file in Excel, and select everything by typing Control-A (Command-A on a Mac)
  3. Copy the data to the Clipboard by typing Control-C (Command-C on a Mac).
  4. Paste the data in the text box below by clicking in the text input and typing Control-V (Command-V on a Mac)

  1. Make sure the i>clicker program is not running
  2. Copy and paste the classlist below to a new file in a plain-text editor (e.g. Notepad) named roster.txt in the folder for your specific iclicker class in the Classes folder of your i>clicker installation.
