Changing Passwords

There are several types of accounts and passwords:

Ted, Webboard, Active Directory accounts

Ted uses the campus Active Directory for authentication. You can reset your password at: Changing Your Active Directory password.  If you do not know who to contact in your department to change your Active Directory password, contact IWDC

You can change your Webboard password by logging into Webboard, then clicking on "More..." then "My profile". 

 

Course Specific Instructor and TA accounts on Unix systems

If you know your password, but would like to change it, you can use the ACMS Global Password Change tool. Enter none for Student ID field.. 
If you don't know your password, please contact the ACMS Accounts Office.

 

Accounts on fee-for-service sdcc12.ucsd.edu

If you know your password, but would like to change it, 
login to sdcc12 and run the passwd command. Details

If you don't know your password, please contact the ACMS/Business Office.
