At ACMS, we make every reasonable effort to ensure that the websites we develop for ourselves and our customers are accessible to all web users. This includes adhering to web standards, using semantic HTML, using manual and automated tools to spot accessibility errors and weaknesses, following accessibility literature, and incorporating feedback from users.
We aim to meet all Section 508 criteria, and take WCAG 2.0 guidelines under strong consideration. However, validation is a tool, not the goal. Automatic validation can be used to reveal mistakes, but is neither sufficient nor necessary to ensure accessibility. While pages may not pass all automatic validation tests, we believe that all content is usable and equally available to all users.
