If you’re running a 64-bit version of Windows click here to download the 64-bit VMWare View Client installer.
The installer will download onto either the desktop or the "Downloads" folder, depending on where you told your browser to download files to.
Once the download has completed, double-click on the installer.
After installation you will have a shortcut icon on your desktop. Double click it.

Next type virtuallab.ucsd.edu, then click connect.

Now enter your UCSD username and password, make sure the domain is set to AD.

You are now ready to connect to the virtual labs you have been given access to. Double click the computer icon

Your screen will refresh and you will now be able to run the software installed on the Virtual Lab computer.
When you are done click the 'x' on the top bar and you will be back to your normal desktop view.
.NOTE: Be sure to save any important files you wish to keep inside you "Documents" folder (AKA the "H:/" drive). Any files left behind on the background desktop of the ACMS Virtual Lab comuter or outside of your Documents folder may be lost and deleted.
If you lose a file, please contact the ACMS Help Desk and we'll do our best to recover it.
