UC San Diego Information Technology Services (IT Services) has been converting student email accounts to Gmail (Google G Suite) over the past four years. As of July 25th, 2018, IT Services has completed the transition of all remaining student mailboxes to this service.

If your email resides on mail.ucsd.edu, please check your email at https://mail.ucsd.edu.
You do not need to do anything. There will be no changes to your account or service.
If you log into G Suite apps (e.g., Google Drive or Docs), you may notice your old email being synchronized, in batches, into your Gmail account. It may take several weeks for all of your email to synchronize into your new account. Continue to check your student email account through your usual methods until you receive notification from IT Services that the synchronization is complete.
