Printing Accounts
Remote Printing on a Mac
Setting up ACMS Remote Printing on your Mac OS X computer
First connect to the remote print page (print.ucsd.edu > 'ACMS remote printing'), select the printer you want and log in.
This will tell you will let you know which model of printer you will be using.
Download one of the following files to your local computer, preferably under your home directory in library/printers:
Dell 1710n PPD
Dell 5100cn PPD
For
CPLOT1
printing google "
HP Designjet T1100ps driver
" and download the driver
HP LaserJet 5M
HP 4200 Series
LexMark Optra T610/T612/T620 PPD
Okidata B6300n PPD
Tektronix Phaser 780 PPD
We'll then need to add a printer, so let's go to System Preferences.
Next, click on
Print & Fax
Once you're in the Print & Fax dialog, click the + to add a printer.
Select
'Other...'
from the dropdown. Now locate the file you downloaded earlier and choose it.
Click
add
and you are ready to print.
