Academic Computing & Media Services (ACMS) provides technology services, support, and resources to the UC San Diego academic community, facilitating teaching and learning in service of the University's educational mission. Our efforts are grounded in a commitment to quality, collaboration, customer focus, innovation, and inclusiveness.
ACMS supports technology in the classroom, online tools such as the campus learning management system, academic podcasting, campus computing labs, student email, the Media Teaching Lab, and network and desktop computing support for residential students (ResNet). Instructional resources are available to students, faculty, teaching assistants, and support staff. ACMS has a rich set of recharge offerings including audio-visual design and engineering, audio-visual special event support, desktop support, and digital signage. ACMS also provides technical management and engineering support to UCTV and UCSD-TV.
