Instructional Computing Plan Process

The annual Instructional Computing Plan (ICP) is a process used by academic departments to make proposals to ACMS for initiatives such as new software and hardware procurement, support for new classes, and changes in curriculum that might impact existing facilities.

Requesting New Software and Equipment

Departments prepare Instrucitonal Computing Plans in February for the following school year. Contact your department instructional coordinator, chair, and/or department business officer regarding ICP requests.

The course information, or Cinfo form, is an adjunct to the ICP for lab and software needs and is the mechanism you should use to request access to existing ACMS resources on behalf of your classes. Cinfo requests involving new resources that have not been approved through the ICP process may be referred back to the department chair or divisional dean for endorsement or funding.
